Defy DHG931 Gas Hob 90cm 5-Burner Gemini Black Glass Cooktop

Discover the Power of the Defy DHG931 Gas Hob

The Defy DHG931 gas hob is an elite culinary platform tailored beautifully for passionate home cooks, large families, and active entertainers. Spanning a massive 90cm horizontal width, this premium Gemini series cooktop treats you to an incredible amount of stove real estate. You can simultaneously coordinate heavy stockpots, wide frying pans, and delicate saucepans without them ever fighting for physical breathing room. By pairing high-performance open flames with a rich, midnight-black tempered glass deck, it serves as an instant design anchor for your kitchen workspace while offering full, uninterrupted cooking independence through unexpected power outages.

Advanced 5-Burner Configuration with Heavy-Duty Wok Zone

At the operational core of this broad cooktop is a precision arrangement of five independent gas burners engineered to maximize multitasking efficiency. Shifting the primary high-heat zone cleanly out of the center, this configuration positions a high-power, heavy-duty wok burner directly on the left-hand margin. This smart architectural choice allows you to easily manage a giant, round-bottom wok or a heavy searing skillet at blistering temperatures without crowding out the remaining four cooking zones. The remaining layout features a rapid burner, two semi-rapid burners, and an auxiliary simmer zone, letting you boil, sauté, and reduce sauces simultaneously with absolute precision.

Seamless Front Controls & Integrated Flame Safety

Controlling your heat profile is an incredibly simple, tactile experience using the front-aligned manual control panel. Each individual ergonomic dial features an integrated automatic electronic ignition system, letting you spark a flame with a single, one-handed turn-and-press motion—meaning you can ditch manual matches and loose handheld lighters for good.

Safety First: For total household peace of mind, every burner comes fully equipped with a reliable mechanical Flame Failure Safety Device (FFD). If a sudden cross-breeze from an open window or an accidental pot boil-over happens to blow out the flame, the FFD mechanism reacts instantly to cut off the gas supply, keeping your household completely safe from potential leaks.

Premium Cast Iron Grates & Effortless Glass Cleanliness

Constructed from heavy-duty, impact-resistant tempered safety glass, this gorgeous cooktop handles high temperatures and intense kitchen wear with ease. The rugged, continuous cast iron pan supports create a beautifully level, highly durable, and non-slip platform for shifting heavy iron cookware from one burner to another safely. When dinner is over, cleaning up is remarkably fast and stress-free. Because the tempered glass deck sits perfectly flat, cooking oils and splatters have nowhere to hide or pool. A quick pass with a damp microfiber cloth and mild liquid dish soap easily restores the surface to its signature showroom shine. Perfectly styled to match our energy-efficient built-in ovens and high-volume kitchen extractor hoods, this flagship addition to our wider Defy kitchen appliances catalog introduces professional-tier luxury directly into your home.
